I had fond memories of P&O having used it often for the Dover to Calais crossings to Europe, every year in the 1980s and 1990s. I remember there being warm fresh food served across counters with alot of variety in the regular food court. 22 years on i now have my own young family and looked forward to my very first experience of "Club Lounge" aboard the "Pride of Canterbury".

From Dover station you'll need to take a taxi or walk (it takes about 30 mins on foot) to Dover Port Travel Centre. On the Calais side there's a shuttle bus which goes between the train station in the town and the port. It costs a couple of Euros (have change ready) and the journey is about 10 minutes.
